    Real estate professionals

An owner who understands their after tax outcome is far more likely to transact.

    Common situations

    • A long held rental or commercial property with a low basis and significant depreciation recapture exposure.
    • An owner who has heard of exchanges but does not understand the deadlines or requirements.
    • A family property where several owners have different objectives.
    • A seller who wants to exit management responsibility but fears the tax result.

    How we participate

We provide education on the planning landscape and coordinate with the seller's CPA and attorney. We do not give tax advice, and we do not advise on property valuation or the transaction itself. The listing relationship remains yours.

This page describes professional collaboration in general terms. It is not legal, tax or investment advice and does not describe any specific referral, compensation or affiliation arrangement.
